Training & Development is responsible for overseeing training and development activities within the church. This can include internal activities (such as Bible Study) and external activities such as Redeemed Leadership Institute (RLI), School of Disciples (SOD), etc.For every time members attend Sunday School, programs, etc. they are being trained. This department consists of 4 units: Sunday School, Foundation Class, Workers-in-Training, and Children’s Church.
Occurs every Sunday morning from 10:00-10:30 a.m. Sunday School follows a curriculum manual used by all the parishes of the RCCG Worldwide. This manual is created yearly by the General Overseer of the RCCG. This class encourages question/answer sections as well as discussions around real life applications. Come and be blessed.
Occurs every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Here we do a deep dive into the Word of God. Over a period of months, we take a look at a Book in the Bible, and spend each bible study class breaking down one or two verses. We are currently studying The Acts of the Apostles. Over the last 12 years we have studied:
Hebrews, James, 1st and 2nd Peter; 1st, 2nd and 3rd John; Jude.

This is a class that occurs on demand. The foundation class is for new Christians (and/or those new to The Redeemed Christian Church of God). The class covers the tenets of our Faith, and the Bible-based beliefs of the RCCG. This class is a requirement for those that want fulfill baptism by immersion.
This is a class that occurs on demand. The prerequisite for this class is the Foundations Class.
This is a class that occurs on demand. This class is for those who want to go beyond being sunday-to-sunday members, and want to go beyond being volunteers. A member that completes Workers-In-Training class in House of Glory, becomes and is recognized as a Worker of House of Glory and of The Redeemed Christian Church of God. RCCG Workers can then go on to become Deacons, Assistant Pastors, and finally, Pastors.
Church is good for children. At HOG the Children’s Church task is to continue to make this evident to the parents and the children alike, by creating programs and having a curriculum that is exciting and involving for the children, while teaching them the bible and laying a strong foundation for their christian walk with God.
